this stuff really works

I always try to use natural products in our home, but it turns out that some of them don't work very well. Dishwasher detergent in particular seems to be hit or miss, especially because we have hard water where we live. I think I may have found my forever detergent here, though, because this stuff really works! And I love that it isn't packaged in plastic at all, and I can get refills for this 100% adorable tin.

Doesn't clean

I've been looking for a chemical-free, plastic-free dishwasher soap and was really excited to try this one. I especially like that you can just buy refills. Unfortunately it doesn't get my dishes clean. If I don't scrub and/or wash the dishes before putting them into the dishwasher (which defeats the purpose of a dishwasher), they come out funky. It's most noticeable on white dishes. I've tried adding vinegar to the rinse cycle and cleaning the filter—no improvement. Currently I'm rewashing the entire last load (which was not remotely overpacked) with a different soap because the dishes were so grimy. I love the idea of this soap but in practice it wasn't a win for me.

Pleasantly surprised

This is my first non-pod dishwasher detergent. I was hesitant and did a lot of research, but admittedly it was the cute tin that sold me in the end. It's been working as well as our big-box store chemical pods, often even better. Definitely planning to purchase again.

Thank you for bringing my cast iron back into regular rotation! I dreaded for so long the battle of cleaning it and seasoning it, so I would simply never use it. We found your product thanks to Harvie and you’ve brought our cast iron back out of the cabinet!

I'm thrilled to find a hand & body lotion without the plastic bottle. It'll be great to use the hand and body lotion this winter! All in all, it's a total win!

Surprised by how much I like this!

I got this to have a non-fragrance soap for healing tattoos and I've been surprised how much I like it. I'm finding myself turning to it more and more for things like cleaning makeup brushes, handwashing, and more. I'm not usually a bar soap person so this has been a great surprise.

Glad I finally got this

I've seen this balm around for years and finally decided to get some to help some new ink heal. It helped the healing process go smoother, especially in combination with the olive oil soap. I've started using it on all my tattoos and they're already looking less dry and more vibrant, without the greasy sensation of a regular lotion. Big fan!
