Found this in a local store, now buying forever

I grabbed one of the dishwasher tins at a local store near me up in NY, and I quickly became obsessed. It does the job well with our mini dishwasher (literally, it's on our countertop), and I don't see us ever switching to a different brand now. Have just ordered more via this website.

Needs a rinse to go with it. Not as good as other natural products I’ve used.

this stuff really works

I always try to use natural products in our home, but it turns out that some of them don't work very well. Dishwasher detergent in particular seems to be hit or miss, especially because we have hard water where we live. I think I may have found my forever detergent here, though, because this stuff really works! And I love that it isn't packaged in plastic at all, and I can get refills for this 100% adorable tin.

Doesn't clean

I've been looking for a chemical-free, plastic-free dishwasher soap and was really excited to try this one. I especially like that you can just buy refills. Unfortunately it doesn't get my dishes clean. If I don't scrub and/or wash the dishes before putting them into the dishwasher (which defeats the purpose of a dishwasher), they come out funky. It's most noticeable on white dishes. I've tried adding vinegar to the rinse cycle and cleaning the filter—no improvement. Currently I'm rewashing the entire last load (which was not remotely overpacked) with a different soap because the dishes were so grimy. I love the idea of this soap but in practice it wasn't a win for me.

Love this product

I never write reviews but we are obsessed with this product, it keeps our cast irons in great shape and is very easy to use. We’ve used a whole jar and ordered two more.

A big hit

This and several other items were purchased as a gift for Valentines Day. It is now part of my wife's nightly routine. She loves it.

Almost too hydrating!

I have hated every conditioner bar that I've tried and I never thought I would have the issue with a conditioner bar that it was too hydrating! Since I have loved every product from Lovett Sundries that I have tried, I decided to try this conditioner bar. I went for the extra hydrating one because of my previous bad experiences with conditioner bars. I have thin hair and I'll definitely try the regular one next time. I have found that washing my hair twice with the shampoo bar and then applying a very quick amount of this conditioner and combing through does the trick! If you have any doubts about conditioner bars - try this one!

Great daily cleaner

I have combination skin and have never found a face wash that doesn't cause me to break out. I have found this bar to help clean my skin. It can be a little drying so it has been essential for me to use the rosewater face cream after. I have noticed my face is cleaner and not overly shiny when I use it.

love it

My calves are really dry after a shower and this stuff really works to rehydrate them. As a bonus, I like the little tin which has great reuses out in my cabinet shop.
